About the Artist
A horse trainer/instructor for 30years, Debby now uses her intuitive sense for animals to emotionally connect you with their world with her artwork and photographic images. She works in oils and acrylics, as well as pencil and colored pencil.
Her pencil and colored pencil work was chosen for the book “Strokes of Genius; the Best of Drawing”, the American Academy of Equine Artists shows, and the cover of “The Chronicle of the Horse”.
Her photographic work has been featured in "Horses in Art" magazine and the book series "The Best of America Photography". She has received numerous awards in prestigious juried competitions and her images have been published in books, calendars and magazines.
Along with help from fellow artist Wilma Bradner, she published the cartoon book “Mud and Manure”.
